Description

Revolution JP8000/8080 contains 128 JP8000 presets like fat trance leads, dirty house chords, lush pads, dangerous landscapes, experimental arpeggios, crazy ambient- and effect sounds, and many trendy and powerful patches, full of energy to rock the clubs! Some awesome sound reproductions of well-known artists (e.g. TALLA 2XLC “Eternal Mystery”) are also included. The variety of the patches is enormous.

Especially the performances sound extremely fat & complex because nearly all patches are dual-layers of two single sounds or split sounds! This means pure fat power! I avoided clicks in the attack – the typical JP problem. Every sound can be changed by the modulations (ribbon controller, motion, velocity assign…) – sometimes drastically!

Although Revolution JP8000 V1 is the longest cult I revised this version completely because of the long-awaited V2! So both versions fit perfectly together. You might get addicted to that stuff!

Note: There’s no mp3 demo for Vol.1 available. Please check out the demo of Revolution JP8000/8080 Vol. 2 – it’s a similar style. You can also be sure Revolution JP8000/8080 Vol.1 offers the usual SOR Quality!

Additional information:

Using a Roland Analog Modeling sound source that is unique to the industry, the JP-8000 Synthesizer blends the rich, punchy tones of classic analog synths with the adaptability of digital technology and MIDI. The JP-8000 boasts 38 front-panel knobs and sliders for potent real-time control, emulating the iconic Roland analog synths of the past and unleashing a whole new realm of sound possibilities. The clever “Motion Control” function ensures that a fantastic real-time “tweak” is never lost by memorizing all successive slider and knob motions. The JP-8000 is a very strong synthesizer for live and studio applications because of its “analog” synth features, which include oscillator sync, ring modulation, -12/-24 dB filtering, cross modulation, an assignable ribbon controller, and a potent pitch bend/modulation lever!

When traditional synth tones are desired in any kind of music, the JP-8000 is a great choice. For synth-pop, dance, drum & bass, techno, and more! Artists like BT, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Vince Clarke, Prodigy, Groove Armada, Depeche Mode, ATB, Faithless, and many more use it.

Features:
– 128 sounds
– 64 programms and 64 multis
– suitable for techno, trance & electro
– saved in “.midi”, “.syx” and “.pat” format (= WINJPLIB Dump Programm)

Requirements:
Roland JP8000 or JP8080 synthesizer

Artist & Press Reviews

Ian Carey & Brad Holland:
Being fans of classic Roland Gear (but not the factory sounds) Oliver really blew us away with his AMAZING banks. The JD800 has a new lease of life and is now in constant use. The JP8080 banks are hugely addictive with each patch being really relevant and useful, which is very refreshing considering the saturated market of mediocre soft synth patch banks. Congratulations Resonance sound. we can’t wait to hear more… YOU GUYS ROCK!!

Installation Guide

Most of our synthesizer related products coming with an additional installation guide, which easily explains, how to install and use the presets.

If for some reason, there is no guide inside the product package – or the included guide doesn`t help or answers your questions, you can also take a look in our Help Centre – which covers the loading of 3rd party presets for several common synthesizers plugins like Sylenth1, Massive, u-He DIVA and more. In addition, our F.A.Q. may also cover some questions.

However, in some cases like hardware synthesizers, the usage and loading of 3rd party presets can be more difficult or untypical compared to software synthesizers. In such cases, please see the manual of the synthesizer itself – this usually covers all topics related to the synthesizer completely and will give you the best guideline.
